Hello! My name is Jimmy and I became a Dad for the first time in October 2014. As someone who has always had a passion for writing, I thought this would be a great opportunity to share my experiences with the world. Who knows what will fill the posts that I put on this blog but I anticipate a fair amount of laughter, tears, sleepless nights, fun days out, crazy kid costumes and all the other things that you get the pleasure of experiencing as a parent.
My intention is to document the journey that myself and my fiancée started back in January 2014 with the aim of entertaining, educating and inspiring anyone out there who takes an interest in what we are up to!

I have just read your beautiful story Jimmy , the tears streaming down my face. I am filled with pride and gratitude for you ,Gemma and baby Thea.
Pride for the strength of character that Gemma showed throughout the birth and what a good Mother she is proving to be ,pride for the wonderfully supportive partner she has and lastly pride that I am gratefully a little part of this brilliant new family unit.
I am truly grateful to beable to read about this magical, if stressful time.
